Pastor's Corner

September 2010
Paul wrote to Titus whom he called "my young son", "You must teach what is in accord with doctrine. Teach the older men to be termperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love and in endurance."
I want to share with you a wonderful opportunity that is being offered to the men of our community that is teaching sound doctrine. First Baptist Church is offering Men's Fraternity to help men build lives of authentic Christian manhood. It will allow you to become involved with an accountability group that will help you grow in your walk of faith.
It is more than just a men's rally or a Bible study, Men's Fraternity is designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction. The study is held from 6:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. to allow plenty of time to get to work afterward. Don't miss out on this great chance to let God change your life.
In Christ,
Pastor Jerry
